In case you didn't know:

  • We have 78,182 books in print (including up to date best sellers), 228 magazine titles, 2170 instructional/entertainment DVD’s, and 221 CD’s available for check-out.
  • The Learning Resource Center (LRC) Computer Lab, The Barbara H. Cole Children’s Literature Center, the Teresa Wood Reading Room, the Jeanne Hastings Gallery, and Boyd 101; a 24 seat computer classroom utilized predominantly by the ENG and HUM Departments are all located in the Boyd Library.
  • Book loans are available to Moore and Hoke County residents and individuals who are 18 years or older who work in Moore and Hoke Counties but reside elsewhere with photo id.
  • We have a wide variety of online research databases both directly and via NCLive for traditional and distance-learners provided for staff and students at www.sandhills.edu/library/
  • Faculty, staff, and students can obtain the NCLive passwords at the Boyd Library Circulation Desk or via email by following the REMOTE ACCESS link in the left navigation on the Boyd Library Homepage.

to find links to the article in another database or to see if the library has the article in print.

If the library does not have a copy, you can order it for free through our Interlibrary Loan service. (Just ask a librarian!) 

If you have a citation that did not come from a library database, try using Google Scholar, which may provide you with a link to a library subscription offering.

Anatomy TV

EBL (Ebook Library), offers flexible online book access options to patrons. Multiple users can access EBL titles simultaneously within the library or via remote access - 24/7. Ebooks can be browsed before being borrowed. Ebooks can be downloaded and read offline on a laptop or ebook reading device.
